Outdoor Retailer announced new dates for the 2017 Winter Market. The show will now take place Jan. 10-12, 2017. The popular All Mountain Demo is scheduled for Jan. 9.
The change was made to better accommodate specialty retailers, the majority of whom indicated in post-show surveys that a midweek date pattern, rather than a schedule that includes weekend show days, is preferred.
“As the show organizer we feel it’s our responsibility to strengthen the event to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the industry. We do this by listening and gathering feedback on a regular basis to identify ways to be innovative and relevant, which makes Outdoor Retailer the must attend show for our community,” said a rep from Outdoor Retailer in a statement.
The Outdoor Retailer Summer Market dates, meanwhile, remain unchanged, taking place from Aug. 3-6, with the Open Air Demo on Aug. 2.
