Paul Andrew Honored at CFDA Fashion Awards

Luxury footwear and accessories designer Paul Andrew was honored at the 2016 CFDA Awards with the Swarovski Award for Accessory Design. Monday night’s ceremony, which took place at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, recognized the best and brightest in the fashion community.

Andrew was nominated alongside fellow designers Gigi Burris and Aurora James. The designer, who released his debut collection in 2013, recently announced he would make his first foray into men’s footwear starting this fall.

The evening’s Womenswear Designer of the Year honors went to Marc Jacobs, presented by Claire Danes. The award for Menswear Designer of the Year was presented to Thom Browne by Alexander Skarsgård. Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel for Mansur Gavriel took home the Accessory Designer of the Year Award, presented by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. Beyoncé was presented the Fashion Icon award by CFDA Chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg.
