Luxury Italian shoemaker Perla Formentini is officially launching on U.S. shores this year with the release of its Spring ’16 collection.
Perla Formentini is a female-led company with a design team mostly made up of women, who work to produce high-quality luxury goods at affordable prices. Styles from the spring collection include luxurious loafers, ballerina flats, sandals, pumps, heels and more.
“We are so proud to be a company for women by women,” said Founders Perla Formentini and Bianca Tse in a joint statement. “We lead such busy lives today, balancing family, work and leisure. We really want to design shoes that can fit our lifestyles, and are especially excited about the launch of our brand in the U.S.”
For its U.S. debut collection, the Perla Formentini design team was inspired by the warmth of sunny days, the deep colors of the Mediterranean and bold architectural shapes and metallic palettes of the city. Highlights in the collection include the Lia, a soft ballerina flat in bright and pastel hues, the Calandra slingback sandal with geometric cutout and the Enrica gladiator sandal.
The new collection retails from $198-395, and is available now through Perla Formentini’s website.
