Pharrell Williams — musician, producer and Adidas Superstar collaborator — will soon add a new achievement, CFDA Fashion Icon, to his dossier .
Williams will be honored on June 1 at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City for his unique style that has earned him a reputation for being a being a trendsetter in fashion and beyond.
The Fashion Icon Award is given to individuals whose style has made a pop culture impact on an international stage. Previous honorees include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss and Johnny Depp.
CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg said, “If cool was a person, it would be Pharrell, not just for his looks and sense of style but for his kindness and openness. I cannot imagine anyone not seduced by him.”
