London-based sustainable footwear brand, Po-Zu, released its first limited-edition women’s co-branded Star Wars shoe last week.

Serving as the first in a series of new special-edition Star Wars shoes, Po-Zu will only make 1,000 pairs of the high-top silver resistance sneakers.

The vegan sneakers are made from Pinnatex, a pineapple leaf fiber known as a vegan leather alternative, in Portugal. The shoe is made with silver woven linen and offers a rubberized official Rebel Alliance badge, quilted rear panel, a removable memory foam foot-bed and a natural latex sole boasting a high-performance grip.

“We take pride in the craftsmanship and heritage of our shoes. They are designed to last and be loved. We go the extra mile to make our shoes ethically and sustainably so you can wear them with clear conscience from dawn till dusk,” said Po-Zu Founder Sven Segal. “We want them to be comfortable, collectable and wearable. This sneaker has all of that and more. I love that it is vegan too.”

The sneaker will be on exhibition at the London Museum of Brands along with the rest of the Star Wars collection for London Design Week, beginning Sept. 1, where attendees can peek at the collection in its entirety.

The sneakers are available for pre-order now on the Po-Zu website, with an expected shipment time in October. The shoes retail for approximately $200. The Po-Zu x Star Wars collaboration is set to continue through to late next year.
