London-based sustainable footwear brand Po-Zu began accepting pre-orders for its Star Wars footwear collection on Thursday. The line, under license with Lucasfilm and Disney, offers seven styles including six for women, and five for men and children.
Fans of the film will recognize shoes based on keycharacters. The Rey boot, designed to look like the boots worn by Daisy Ridley’s character, offer wool tweed, natural cork, natural latex and the brand’s signature Po-Zu Foot-Mattress. The collection also features shoes based on characters Finn, Poe, the Stormtroopers and Chewie. Other styles offer a more subtle nod to the film like the BB-8 orange and white sneakers.
“We built the range to be a collectible but also highly wearable. We wanted the shoes to resonate with the Star Wars community whilst also being commercially designed by incorporating some strong trend-led cues,” said Sven Segal, Po-Zu founder and creative director.
The collection will retail for $90-$250, and can be pre-ordered online at Po-Zu’s website, with an August delivery date.
