Première Vision Expands Footwear Manufacturing Solutions

Première Vision will broaden its offer of services tailored for the footwear industry at its next show in Paris, Sept. 19-21.

As part of the Première Vision Paris ensemble, the show will introduce Bag & Shoe Manufacturing, an expanded selection of manufacturers and contractors with a specialty in footwear and handbags. Companies will present manufacturing solutions and techniques, and provide insight for non-specialized fashion brands looking for partners to develop their footwear collections.

Footwear designer and consultant Nathalie Elharrar will share her experiences with 3-D printing, building a customer-supplier relationship and provide manufacturing tips during three seminars at the show. Le Conseil technique du Cuir (CTC) will host daily workshops dedicated to shoe manufacturing.

Première Vision’s decision to enhance the manufacturing segment of the show comes at a time when the company says changing markets are requiring more diversified sourcing solutions.

Bag & Shoe Manufacturing will be located alongside the Première Vision Leather and Première Vision Accessories, homes to tanners and manufacturers of technical components. The manufacturing section complements Bag & Shoe Elements, Première Vision’s area for trends and materials for the footwear and leather goods market.
