Puma debuted a revolutionary new technology in a star-studded event with Usain Bolt, the fastest runner in the world, in New York City Thursday evening.
The technology, Netfit, is a new customizable lacing system for men and women that allows for a number of performance and style options. The system also enhances fit and offers support by using a high grade engineered net with form-fitting base materials.
The customizable lacing option gives the wearer more control and allows for better performance due to the personalization of the fit. Puma has developed five different lacing techniques, with specific configurations for people in need of heel support, wide feet, narrow feet, stability and a standard lace—but the options are limitless.
The brand introduces the Netfit technology on various silhouettes, including the Ignite Netfit, Tsugi Netfit and 365 Netfit.
The technology debuts this month beginning with the Speed Ignite Netfit available now online for $140, rolling out more styles throughout the summer.
