PVH Inks Deal with USA Legwear for Warner’s Socks

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

PVH, the parent company of brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, announced Thursday that the company teams up with USA Legwear to make, sell, distribute and promote women’s hosiery and socks under the Warner’s brand.

Warner’s foray into women’s hosiery will include sheer hosiery, tights, leggings, thigh highs, knee highs, trouser socks, dress socks, athletic socks, casual socks and boot socks.

“As we seek ways to grow the Warner’s product line, we naturally came upon hosiery as a great fit with our intimate apparel offerings. The Warner’s brand has a leading market share position in bras and panties, and we believe that USA Legwear can leverage this positioning to develop and grow a hosiery business,” said Ken Wyse, PVH Corp. president of licensing. “USA Legwear has extensive knowledge and experience in this product category, and we look forward to working with them to build this business.”

Beginning in Spring ’18, products will be sold in department stores, specialty stores, national chains and large retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
