Reebok announced a new partnership with luxury sportswear label Pyer Moss and the brand’s founder and designer Kerby Jean-Raymond.
This is one in a series of moves the brand is making to try and keep up with giants like Nike and Adidas. And, while both Nike and Adidas boast large celebrity rosters, after announcing a new collaboration with Victoria Beckham set to debut next year, Reebok is hot on their tails.
Now, Reebok rolls out collections of men’s, women’s and unisex sportswear with the helpful eye of Jean-Raymond. “All it took was one conversation to know that Reebok was the right home for our team,” he said. “We are really excited for everything we have coming up.”
The collection, which will debut in February of 2018, aims to reimagine athletic staples for Fall/Winter ’18, with two different lines for Reebok Classic, which will launch in August 2018.
The ready-to-wear designs combine Reebok’s heritage with a modern twist, along with adding some of Pyer Moss’ ideas towards modern style.
“Pyer Moss exudes the type of fearlessness and authenticity that Reebok Classic stands for,” said Todd Krinsky, Reebok Classic general manager. “We are excited to welcome Kerby Jean-Raymond and his designers to the Reebok family and look forward to working together on the upcoming collection.”
