Reebok, Sam Edelman Among Brands at Active Collective NYC Trade Show

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Active Collective is expanding its trade show to New York City. The event, featuring a host of footwear and sport sock brands including Reebok, Sam Edelman and LabellaMafia, will take place Jan. 26-27 at the Metropolitan Pavilion.

Active collection was created as a women’s only trade show where active brands can meet with buyers to focus on athleisure fashion and product promotion. The trade show is centered around footwear and athletic accessories. The Active Collective trade shows started as a sub category spinoff to Swim Collective in 2015. Both shows are produced by Emerald Expositions.

“The decision to take the trade show to New York was a strategic one,” Roy Turner, SVP, Emerald Expositions said. “Active Collective’s moniker is where ‘fashion meets fitness’ and while our origins are rooted in the California fitness lifestyle, we see New York as the mecca for fashion and a perfect compliment to our California shows.”

The two-day event will start promptly at 9 AM each day and end by 6 PM. Attendees can choose to attend or sign up as an exhibitor. Details about the event are available at the company website.
