Online footwear and apparel retailer Shoes.com announced Thursday it had appointed Bradley Wilson as president.
Wilson is a veteran in the online space, having previously served as general manager at Expedia and chief marketing officer at Travelocity, where he helped grow the travel site into a multi-billion dollar business which Expedia bought in 2014. Wilson has also held senior management roles at Nutrisystem and Match.com
Shoes.com CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors Roger Hardy welcomes Wilson during a time of expansion and company growth.
“Bradley has an expansive understanding of the needs of our customer and will continue to look for innovative ways to serve them and our vendor community,” Hardy said. “We are thrilled to have him take the helm of Shoes.com and lead us through the next stage of growth.”
Founded in 2012, Shoes.com has seen its revenues grow to more than $200 million as of 2012. Wilson comes on as the company seeks to grow its footprint even further.
“Shoes.com and its portfolio of brands are well positioned to change how customers find the shoes that they love,” said Wilson. “I am thrilled to lock arms with the forward-thinking team that’s been squarely focused on marrying technology and commerce. There is considerable opportunity ahead to provide the Shoes.com customers with an elevated and unique shopping experience. I have jumped in, feet first.”
