The Canadian retailer, valued at $320 million according to Business Insider, represents the first company to drop the daughter of the President-Elect’s brand.
This news comes during the continued Twitter campaign to #grabyourwallet, urging shoppers and companies to drop Trump brands, which includes Ivanka Trump’s eponymous clothing and footwear lines.

The #grabyourwallet movement calls for the boycott of 32 other companies, including big-time shoe retailers like Zappos and DSW. However, Shoes.com remains the first and only retailer to publicly drop the brand.
The Twitter-sphere met the decision to dump Trump brands with gratitude.

Shoes.com took part in the conversation to thank those vocal to the cause.
“Kudos to all courageous people for your strong voices,” the company tweeted. “Thank you for all your feedback during this time.”
However, some speculate the online shoe retailer dropped Ivanka Trump’s brand due to a decrease in sales.
Only time will tell how her father’s pending Presidency and her rumored possible cabinet position will affect the Ivanka Trump.
