Florida-based slip-resistant footwear brand Shoes for Crews has announced that Nathan Crary will take up the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Product Creation and Innovation.
In this role, Crary will be responsible for overseeing product design, development and production, reporting to Stuart Jenkins, the company’s President and CEO.
Nathan is one of the finest footwear craftsmen in the industry, who began honing his hard-won talent at the age of six while working in his grandfather’s footwear factory in Portland, Oregon,” said Jenkins. “I worked with him for many years and witnessed firsthand his expertise and achievements. Nathan is a terrific addition to our management team, and I am confident he will be a tremendous asset as Shoes For Crews creates the best, most comfortable and durable footwear.”
Prior to joining Shoes For Crews, Crary most recently served as vice president of global product development for Deckers Outdoor Corporation, the parent company of seven popular footwear brands including Ugg, Teva, and Sanuk. Crary also previously owned NWC International, an independent consultancy, where he helped develop specialized products and initiatives for globally-recognized footwear manufacturers and provided guidance on sourcing, development, commercialization, design, and brand direction.
