Skechers Performance has announced a new partnership with Breast Cancer Care, a UK-based charity that provides support for those affected by breast cancer.
The collaboration will see the release of a limited edition shoe line incorporating the iconic breast cancer awareness pink ribbon on the heel. The limited edition collection includes the Skechers Gorun 400 and Gowalk 3, and sells for £59 ($76.60), with £5 of every pair sold going toward the foundation.
Skechers will also launch a two-month long marketing campaign including digital, in-store, print and social media components in tandem with the collaboration.
“After seeing the success of previous partnerships, we wanted to continue and expand our support for breast cancer charities in the United Kingdom,” said Peter Youell, Skechers UK and Ireland managing director. “In this new collaboration we wish to help raise awareness about all the incredible free services that Breast Cancer Care provide, including face-to-face support, vital information and the confidential Helpline.”
The philanthropic line will be available in Skechers UK stores and UK website throughout October.
