Men Sported Stylish Footwear to Hit the Streets at Pitti Immagine Uomo

Pitti Immagine Uomo wrapped on June 14 after several stylish days of runway shows, fashion presentations and glimpses into what lies ahead in men’s wear trends. The event drew 30,000 attendees and 18,500 buyers from more than 100 countries, and more than 2,000 fashion editors, journalists and influencers descended on Florence to broadcast the festivities to the world.

Dressed up or dressed down, male attendees at the 96th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo made their sartorial statements loud and clear. On the pavement surrounding the fashion fair, men sported that mainstay of street style—the sneaker—often wearing luxury trainers with a decidedly casual, laissez fair vibe. Neon and tie-dye checked the trend box on a number of occasions and cheeky socks accessorized otherwise toned-down shoe selections. Hikers showed up solidifying the outdoor-goes-upscale trend and Dad shoes cemented their staying power as a staple in the fashion guy’s wardrobe.

From mass-market Nikes to pricey Louis Vuittons, male stylesetters stepped out in fashion-forward footwear on the men’s wear scene’s biggest stage.
