Los Angelenos love their cars and films. On Friday, Los Angeles-based shoe store Sportie LA is driving home both infatuations by launching a pop-up shop dedicated to the release of Disney-Pixar’s “Cars 3.”
Curated for an adult, style-conscious audience, the Cars 3 Fashion Pit Stop at Sportie LA will offer collaborative product from New Balance, Members Only, Illest, LA Rocks and more.
The limited-edition New Balance x Cars 3 collection includes the men’s Vazee Pace V2 with a red mesh upper and subtle checkered flag pattern. As an added flair fitting of Cars’ main character, Lightning McQueen, a metallic lightning bolt on the toe and a flame pattern on the midsole allude to speed.
The Vazee Rush v2 for kids is offered in three colorways inspired by Lightening McQueen and Jackson Storm. All three styles are available in infant, preschool and boy’s grade school sizes. The collection retails for $49.95-$69.95.
For an added perk, on June 14 shoppers can bring their sneakers to the pop-up shop for a complimentary cleaning, or “tune up.”
