Could Jimmy Choo Co-Founder Tamara Mellon’s 2013 autobiography In My Shoes become the next The Devil Wears Prada?
Deadline.com reported that the U.K. production company, Working Title, has optioned the book to bring Mellon’s story to the silver screen as a comedy.
In My Shoes chronicled Mellon’s childhood, her time spent at Vogue and her business with Choo, and how she helped turn the company into a global billion-dollar brand.
Comedian and screenwriter Laura Solon has adapted the book. Deadline.com reported that the movie has the makings of becoming a female-oriented fashion comedy like The Devil Wears Prada, Sex and the City and Trainwreck.
