Tretorn Marks 125th Anniversary with Social Media Influencers

Tretorn is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a Fall ’16 collection inspired by its Swedish urban heritage.

The brand’s new line showcases men’s and women’s footwear that combines urban purpose with playful and innovative designs that fit into the modern consumer’s on-the-go lifestyle.

The collection offers an expanded range of boots and sneakers, including the Match, Markey and Camden, which all feature a touch of Tretorn’s roots with bold fall colorways. The brand’s iconic Nylite sneaker is also updated, with hi-top and low-top silhouettes now available in jersey, suede and leather materials. Meanwhile, Eco Ortholite, Sympatex and Thermal Sock bring technical components to the collection, offering breathability, support, and waterproof and insulation properties.

Tretorn’s anniversary festivities will extend into a 360 marketing campaign that enlists social media influencers. The social media campaign, #Tretorn125, will feature brand ambassadors as they travel 125 miles to their favorite destination, as they showcase their everyday life in cities and in nature and their Tretorn style. Beginning Aug. 22, #Tretorn125 will kick off a season long activation of celebrity and influencer seeding of key styles.
