Vans is feeling the ocean vibes in a new collaboration with Positive Vibe Warriors (PVW), a San Clemente, Calif.-based non-profit foundation that assists communities with youth water safety and ocean education.
Vans and PVW will join forces this fall to to host a series of local surfing events, swim lessons, ocean awareness programs, lifeguard workshops and many more ocean-friendly activities, with all proceeds going to help PVW.
Vans is also teaming up with PVW in a new collection of Vans footwear, apparel and accessories for men and women. With design details that tie back to the PVW aesthetic and custom graphics made by PVW’s co-founders the Gudauskas brothers, the charitable collection takes on a cool color palette, mimicking the blue hues of oceans and tidepools encountered on the many adventures of the Positive Vibe Warriors.
“The ocean is an infinite source of creativity, joy and learning,” said Dane Gudauskas, PVW co-founder. “It has been a powerful influence in our lives and we want to inspire the next generation to continue to enjoy the ocean’s power in a positive and safe way.”
