VF Corporation’s Outdoor and Action Sports coalition is under new leadership. On Tuesday, VF Corp. announced Scott H. Baxter has been named Vice President, VF Corporation and Group President, Outdoor and Action Sports Americas, effectively immediately.

Baxter previously held the title of Vice President, VF Corporation and Group President, Jeanswear Americas, Imagewear and South America. VF Corporation President and Chief Operating Officer Steven Rendle lauded Baxter for his “proven record of achievement in retail and wholesale channels.”

Under Rendle’s leadership, the coalition, which includes The North Face, Vans and Timberland, represented 35 percent of the company’s global revenue in 2015.

As an additional part of these organizational changes, President, VF Action Sports and Vans Kevin Bailey, will now have added responsibility to oversee VF activities in Central and South America, as well as the Outdoor and Action Sports businesses in Canada and Mexico.
