The celebration, which will include an anniversary commemoration and factory tours, will also see the likes of Rep. Jim McGovern, State Sen. Anne Gobi and State Rep. Donnie Berthiaume making appearances.
“Vibram is a key component of the Massachusetts manufacturing economy and an important source of high-quality products for members of our military and individual customers around the globe,” said Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito.
This year also marks the beginning of Vibram USA’s commitment to a five-year, multi-million dollar campaign, with investments in staff and machinery to further innovation for the next century. The company is also upgrading QVI’s capabilities and manufacturing machines, as well as beginning a two-year workers’ education program and expanding its domestic supply chain.
