Vionic Supports Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer

Vionic keeps a good tradition alive. For the third year, the comfort footwear brand will sponsor San Francisco’s Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer on July 8-9.

Vionic will be gifting 2,000 walkers with limited-edition, pink flip-flops as they cross the finish line. Last year the company donated 2,000 pairs of the sandals and the year prior donated 1,000 pairs of its popular Relax slippers.

“We’re thrilled to support the people walking to raise money and awareness for such a vital cause. It’s especially important to support one another during times of challenge, as we’ve all had personal connections with women facing this battle,” said Vionic President Connie Rishwain. “We hope our donation offers comfort to those who put themselves through this personal challenge over their two-day journey.”

Vionic is building momentum in the flip-flop category with Vionic Beach, a new line of colorful low-profile injected EVA flip-flops designed with the brand’s signature contoured arch. The brand is promoting the line this summer with a traveling pop-up shop across Californian beaches. It’s final destination will be FN Platform in Las Vegas, Aug. 14-16.
