Vionic Kicks Off Spring ’18 with New Showroom

Vionic is the newest tenant to move into the 1370 Avenue of Americas building in New York City. The San Rafael, Calif.-based comfort lifestyle brand is celebrating the grand opening of its first-ever showroom during FFANY, May 31-June 2.

Vionic shares the building with footwear names like Vince Camuto, Steve Madden, Titan Industries and more. Located on the fourth floor, Vionic Group President Connie Rishwain described the showroom as “bright, fresh and modern, just like our product.”

“As we continue to grow into a year-round brand, it became apparent that we needed a permanent space to showcase the full line—both present and upcoming product offerings,” said Rishwain. “Our showroom is ideal for working with customers, suppliers, business partners and media, and to serve as a New York-based workspace.”

Visitors to the showroom will get a first look at the Spring ’18 collection, featuring a wider range of materials and silhouettes than ever before.

The latest innovation from Vionic comes in a new sandal construction, offering the same built-in biomechanics with a sleek, low-profile look. A smooth leather-covered footbed is accented with a white rubber outsole. The brand is also focused on travel-friendly footwear for spring, including comfortable cupsole slip-ons and lace-ups, 3-inch espadrille wedges with elastic uppers and beach-ready flat espadrille slides.

Blush tones, cornflower blue, denim and crisp whites offer a fresh and vibrant look for the season, while perforated patterns, contrasting tassels and rose gold details punctuate the women’s collection.

Vionic’s expanded men’s collection spans leather and canvas cupsoles, to pulled-leather flip-flops, slides and fisherman sandals.

“We’re excited to introduce the Spring ’18 collection as it’s given us the opportunity to continue our forward momentum style-wise, while also delivering on the support our consumer has come to expect,” said Rishwain.
