As president, Rishwain’s responsibilities will include overseeing product, marketing and sales. She will also join Vionic’s Board of Directors. Rishwain will report to Vionic CEO Chris Gallagher.
Rishwain stepped down from post at Ugg last year. She is largely credited for transforming Ugg from a $10 million niche surf brand into a $1.5 billion global lifestyle business. She has also held senior roles at Deckers, Impo and Nine West Group.
“I am excited to join Vionic and help build on the success on the they have achieved. Vionic has a great culture, which is a reflection of the founders and team, and this greatly influenced my decision to become part of the Vionic family,” said Rishwain.
Vionic continues to expanded deeper into lifestyle footwear. The company launched in 2008 fusing classic sandal silhouettes with its biomechanical technology. Spring ’17 will see the addition of 3-inch block heels, espadrilles and its most performance-driven shoe.
