What’s New at the August FFANY Show

Start August on the right foot. From Aug. 1-3, FFANY invites the fashion footwear community to a series of events at the New York Hilton Midtown and across the city—each geared toward boosting business and business relationships.

Be seen
Long summer days call for rooftop soirées. FFANY will host an Opening Night Industry Event on Tuesday, Aug.1 at the Dream Hotel Midtown. From 6-8 p.m., FFANY members, participating brands and attending retailers can catch up and take in the spectacular view of the city from the hotspot’s rooftop. RSVP is required by July 28. Be heard
Good product isn’t enough—brands need a strong voice and cohesive message to shine. With more than 40 collective years of experience working with some of the most prominent names in the footwear industry, Modern Pulse Consulting Group will present “Creating A Brand With A Voice” on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 8 a.m. at the Hilton’s Concourse level.

In this continuation of FFANY’s seminar series, attendees will learn how to create a brand that is heard through all the retail and online chatter by understanding how product design, sourcing and target marketing through PR and social media are all instrumental to a brand’s success. And dress the part
New York City’s best charitable pop-up shoe sale, Shoes4ACure, returns for a second time. Thanks to the generous donations of FFANY member brands, shoes from major footwear companies will be sold at 50 percent off the suggested retail price. The boutique will be open to the public and all proceeds from the three-day sale will be donated to breast cancer research. The sale takes place Aug. 1-3 at the Hilton’s Concourse level.
