Rockford, Michigan-based Wolverine is giving its iconic 1000 Mile Boot a makeover with a new, limited-edition “Pigskin” version.
The new “Pigskin” boot, made with genuine football cowhide leather from Horween Leather Company, features a 100-year-old boot pattern that was first introduced in 1914, and is available in a rust colorway for men. With all the features of the original 1000 Mile Boot, this new style provides the same feel associated with Wolverine boots but with a unique texture.
“The 1000 Mile boot has become iconic in the industry, and adding this limited edition boot is something that adds another dimension for the consumers who enjoy our brand & products,” said Todd Yates, president of Wolverine Brand.
Retailing for $400, the “Pigskin” 1000 Mile Boot will be available starting April 28 exclusively online and at the Wolverine Company Store in Manhattan.
