On the heels of last spring’s coveted nine-piece collab, classic womenswear label Kate Spade New York and comfort shoe brand Dr. Scholl’s have announced a second capsule collection.
The two-style drop will infuse Dr. Scholl’s distinctive original sandal with a playful, feminine twist, featuring Kate Spade’s iconic black-on-white polka dot printed leather.
While the minimal offering pales in comparison to last spring’s sizable collection, shoppers can still enjoy the small yet impactful design details—like heart shaped metal screws—that enticed them in 2020.
The shoe’s wood platform base is made from natural beechwood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
The shoe is also available in a a cheerful shade of millennial pink suede.
The sandal’s plant-based outsole is made from cornstarch.
The label’s former creative director, Nicola Glass, said last spring that she was inspired to pursue the collaboration because of the “effortless style and comfortable silhouette” that have made the wooden sandal a hit since the ‘70s.
