No campaign rollout would be complete without high-profile collaborators, and the company has teamed with musical artists RZA and Haim as well as American professional rock climber Conrad Anker and professional skier Ingrid Backstrom to be the first contributors to the archive.
Anker’s new version of the garment will launch this fall.
It will be available in multiple color ways.
Each capsule will be designed to promote exploration, the brand said, including a reimagining of the insulating Nuptse jacket.
The jacket was used in the first non-mechanized crossing of Antarctica in 1990, and will be redesigned using 100-percent recycled fabrics.
“Our customers, the feats they have achieved, and the memories they have created are such a big part of our brand’s rich DNA,” Mike Ferris, The North Face vice president of global brand, said in a statement.
The newly revamped style will launch sometime this season, The North Face said.

As the campaign takes shape throughout the fall, The North Face will concurrently release six new collections that draw inspiration from its most-loved styles and pay homage to its heritage.
