Tailored by Travel: Roark x Pendleton Collab

Roark has partnered with one of America’s iconic woolen mills to bring forth a modern collection of goods backed by generations of quality.

The Roark x Pendleton collection offers an elevated approach to Roark’s most successful flannels and jackets, built with Pendleton fabrics and modernized patterns, a collaboration that takes the best of both brands.

In true “tailored by travel” Roark style, the crew traveled to Montana to learn more about the history and trade behind wool and Pendleton’s attention to quality when sourcing from American farmers.

Roark has partnered with Pendleton this season on a limited-edition collection of flannels, jackets, and tees that share their passion for quality wool and American heritage.

The limited collaboration is a follow-up to a collection they released together last year, one that brought Roark’s team out to one of their wool farms in Montana, where the crew learned the history and trade behind wool and Pendleton’s exceptional attention to quality when sourcing straight from American farmers.

Pendleton is a family-owned company established in 1863 and headquartered in Portland, Oregon. For more than 100 years, the company has been weaving world class woolens in its two Pacific Northwest mills. Along with fine wool blankets, apparel and accessories, the brand also offers an array of other luxury fabrics, all backed by a “Warranted to be a Pendleton” quality assurance.

The chase for Roark began out of a desire to tell stories born of adventure and discovery. Each season, Roark is found in a different part of the world, telling stories of exploration within its product, on social platforms and in a bi-annual direct mailer “guide book.” Inspired by the culture and climate of Roark’s destination, the company produces two collections per year of clothing, luggage and memorabilia.
