The century-old company is expected to drop Wilson Sportswear on a bi-weekly basis, with special collaborations planned around key moments in sport culture.
The company’s “starting lineup” includes five items for men and five items for women, ranging from $48 to $98 in price.
The starting lineup is sold exclusively at Wilson.com in the U.S., and via WeChat and other leading brand sites in China.
Later this year, Wilson will open its first-ever retail locations in Chicago, New York, Beijing, Shanghai and elsewhere.
With the launch of Wilson Sportswear, Wilson is also extending its Advisory Staff network to include a group of “esteemed luminaries” who intersect sport and culture.
While the sportswear collection is built for comfort, the items also are designed to look more like apparel that could be worn outside of playing sports.
