With the holiday season around the corner, Pottery Barn announces it has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products for a collection inspired by the classic holiday movie, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”
The 13-piece line includes bedding, tabletop, decor, seasonal accessories such as lights and ornaments, as well as gift items. Motifs from the movie used in the collection include Cousin Eddie’s moose head mug in the form of an ornament, the family’s station wagon topped with a giant tree printed on bedding and string lights with dangling tangled balls.
“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is such an iconic holiday classic,” said Marta Benson, Pottery Barn president. “We were beyond excited to partner with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring this collection to life and add some fun and nostalgia into people’s homes. It’s also the perfect gift for those who are fans of film, like myself.”
Pottery Barn has partnered with film franchises for collections in its Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen lines. Those collaborations include Star Wars-, Marvel, Harry Potter-, Lego– and Disney-themed collections. The company also recently launched a Star Trek-themed collection for Pottery Barn Teen.

The “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” line also plays into Pottery Barn’s sustainability and social responsibility efforts. The collection includes Fair Trade Certified pieces, as well as pieces made with recycled materials and responsibly sourced cotton.
At the beginning of this year, Pottery Barn outlined its goals for sustainability and social responsibility for the coming years. Those goals include achieving 100 percent sustainably sourced cotton by the end of 2022, as well as 50 percent sustainably sourced wood across all product categories. Along with that, Pottery Barn anticipates 75 percent landfill diversion across the company, with an ongoing goal to make continuous improvement in reducing packaging and leveraging recyclable materials.
