Pantone Colors H&M Home’s Trendy New Collection

H&M expands its home goods offerings with a new line created in collaboration with color experts, Pantone.

The H&M Home Pantone collection includes accessories such as cushions covers, vases, trays, a side table, ornamental pedestal and scented candles in two themed color palettes. The Calm & Soothing palette includes shades chosen to offer a sense of stability and tranquility: pistachio (2260C), petrol (548C), green (5545C) and mid blue (2178C). The Energy & Joy palette includes four colorways—pink (707C), red (3517C), orange (2027C) and apricot (2022C)—designed to infuse vibrancy and heat and evoke feelings of inner vitality, love and joy.

“Color is essential for both our home and our senses,” said Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, head of design and creative, H&M Home. “No one understands this better than Pantone, who are the foremost experts on how colour can influence how we work and live.”

Pantone is a global color company that does everything from trend forecasting to offering color-matching technology to ensure consistency across materials and finishes for graphics, fashion and product design.

Each year, Pantone’s Color Institute—its trend forecasting and consulting arm—selects the color(s) of the year, identifying hues that will be influential across fashion, home and more for the coming year. The institute named Viva Magenta as its color of the year for 2023.

The Calm & Soothing palette is all about tranquility.

Kravaev-Söderberg said Pantone’s expertise allowed H&M Home to create new products designed to allow consumers to incorporate mood-improving color into their homes.
