Noble Biomaterials Goes Big on Bedding with Rest Duvet Deal

In the quest for offering better sleep, bedding companies have infused their products with everything from green tea and CBD to copper. Rest Duvet jumps on that bandwagon with a new line of Silvercool bedding made in collaboration with Noble Biomaterials.

The collection includes sheets and pillowcases made with Noble’s Silvercool fabric, which uses thermal conductivity to absorb and transfers heat faster than cotton, bamboo or silk. The bedding also incorporates Nobles Ionic+ Antimicrobial Technology that eliminates stain- and odor-causing bacteria without washing out.

“The creation of sheets and pillowcases with the Silvercool technology was a natural next phase in Rest Duvet’s line of bedding, and we couldn’t have imagined partnering with a better and more forward-thinking company than Noble Biomaterials to help us create and bring this to the market,” said Rest Duvet Co-founder Andy Nguyen.

Silvercool fabric is made with an ultra-fine yarn that mimics silk proteins, giving the bedding a soft, cool feel while also boosting moisture wicking.

The partnership comes on the heels of Noble Biomaterials’ launch of its Ionic+ Botanical antimicrobial finish, which uses an EPA approval-pending, renewable citric-based technology applied as a topical fabric finish that’s rated at 50 wash cycles. Between that and this Rest Duvet collaboration, Noble is making a bigger push into the home textiles market.

“We’re excited to partner with Rest Duvet and continue our expansion into the bedding space,” said Allon Cohne, chief marketing officer, Noble Biomaterials. “Our permanent Ionic+ technology requires fewer washes and saves energy, complementing Rest’s mission to provide consumers with a cooling, sustainable bedding solution.”

The Silvercool sheet set comes in aqua blue and cool gray, priced from $299 for a queen to $319 for a king and $329 for a California king size.
