Standard Fiber, a major manufacturer of basic bedding products, has expanded its collaboration with 37.5 Technology, a specialist in thermoregulation material science, to offer a broader scope of bedding products made with the innovative temperature-regulating technology.
Bedding made with 37.5 Technology helps keep people warm when they’re cold and cool them down when hot, continually adjusting to maintain a climate of personal comfort while users are sleeping.
By using the thermoregulating properties of volcanic minerals permanently embedded into fabric and fill, sleep products made with 37.5 Technology actively reduce humidity next to the body to maximize the natural cooling process of sweat evaporation. Removing moisture vapor from the skin before it turns into liquid sweat is the key to maintaining an ideal sleep climate.
“Standard Fiber has enjoyed a long-standing and successful relationship with 37.5 Technology, [which shares] our on-going commitment to providing the best sleep experience to consumers,” said Chad Altbaier, Standard Fiber chief commercial officer. “We are thrilled that their team is as eager as we are to partner on an expanded offering of new 37.5 Technology sleep products that are presently in the works.”
Standard Fiber will introduce its expanded lineup of utility bedding and mattress fabrics and covers for optimizing sleep with 37.5 Technology for global distribution in early 2023. According to Altbaier, pillows, mattress pads, comforters and mattress fabrics and covers with 37.5 Technology will be produced at both its North American and offshore factories.
“We are delighted to be expanding our partnership with Standard Fiber. [which] has an industry reputation for excellence in the home textile, mattress and hospitality industries,” said Serine Steinnes, executive vice president of the Global Home Division for 37.5 Technology. “We are confident about the results that this collaboration will bring in terms of new innovation for bedding and mattress covers in today’s market.”
Standard Fiber sleep products made with 37.5 Technology offer sustainable benefits throughout the product lifecycle by reducing drying time and energy usage in the laundering process compared to other bedding. 37.5 Technology is also naturally derived, along with being certified skin-friendly and hypo-allergenic.
Created by Cocona Labs, 37.5 Technology utilizes natural volcanic minerals that are permanently incorporated into fabrics, insulations, foams and laminate materials. Materials made with 37.5 Technology are used across an array of industries, including apparel, footwear, bedding and home goods. Cocona Labs is headquartered in Boulder, Colo.
With offices and staff in the U.S., U.K., China, India and Pakistan, Standard Fiber is a market leader in home bedding products and textile manufacturing, and one of the largest producers of utility bedding products.
