Two of the most well-known sweatshirt brands, Russell and Champion, have new distribution deals to help broaden their reach.
Through this partnership, an assortment of core styles from Russell Athletic will be available at five distribution centers in California, Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
“The partnership with Alphabroder makes our brand even more accessible to team dealers, promotional products distributors and decorators across the country,” Ricardo Aranda, vice president of activewear at Russell, said. “We’re excited for the brand’s potential now that Alphabroder carries all three of our major activewear brands, including Russell Athletic, Jerzees and Fruit of the Loom.”
The assortment from Russell Athletic for Alphabroder includes core styles from its Dri-Power collection, essentials collection and its more recent Cotton Classics collection, all comprised of top-selling fleece and jersey unisex styles in an array of colors and sizes. Made of three-end fleece that combines softness, durability and moisture-wicking technology, the Russell Athletic Dri-Power collection maintains dryness and freshness for long-lasting comfort.
Similarly, Russell Athletic Cotton Classic tees keep it simple and comfortable, honoring the brand’s roots and staying true to its original values of innovation and craftsmanship

Meanwhile, G4, a gaming-culture content studio and network that unites creators and fandoms, has released its collection with Champion Athletics.
The limited-edition capsule, available until the network relaunches on Nov. 16 after originally debuting in 2002 as a joint venture between the NBCUniversal Cable division of NBCUniversal and Dish Network, includes streetwear apparel such as crewnecks, hoodies, joggers, and long and short sleeve T-shirts.
The G4 x Champion collection is emblazoned with G4’s pre-launch slogan “We Never Stopped Playing” and will be the only time consumers can get the merchandise with that pre-launch branding.
