Shuffle Board: David’s Bridal Names Digital Chief; YNAP Appoints Managing Director for Mr Porter

David’s Bridal announced the promotion of Lizzy Ellingson to chief digital experience officer.

In the newly created role, Ellingson will lead the digital transformation of the brand. Reporting directly into Kelly Cook, David’s Bridal’s chief marketing officer, Ellingson will support the company’s omni-channel transformation, launching new-to-market planning tools, AI capabilities and website optimizations meant to service customers along their entire shopping journey.

Most recently, she was the co-founder and chief product and design officer of Blueprint Registry, a digital registry and website builder focused on creating a personal, omnichannel shopping experience for millennials during special occasions. Blueprint Registry was acquired by David’s Bridal in 2018.

Yoox Net-a-Porter

Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, an online luxury and fashion company, appointed Fiona Firth as managing director of Mr Porter.

Firth has held the role of buying director for Mr Porter since April 2016, helping to redefine the luxury men’s wear e-commerce experience. In September 2017, she also played a key role in the launch of the Mr P. Ready To Wear private label, bringing shoes and accessories to the brand in September 2018. She has also overseen Mr Porter’s expansion into key categories including luxury watches and lifestyle. Mr Porter now stocks close to 600 brands.

Reporting to Alison Loehnis, president of the luxury division, and joining a team of long-standing senior divisional and brand leaders, Firth will be responsible for driving Mr Porter’s ORTER’s ambitious development plans.

Extend

Extend, a credit card distribution platform, appointed Rob Pfeifer as chief revenue officer, bolstering the company’s executive leadership team with his experience in the e-commerce ecosystem.

Pfeifer was formerly chief financial officer and chief revenue officer at fintech firm Affirm. Pfeifer will report directly to CEO Woodrow Levin and will be based in San Francisco.

At Extend, he will build out the revenue operations organization, including sales and business development, as well as Extend’s customer success function.
