Starting March 29, Etihad Airways will be change the flight times for its services to and from Chicago and New York.
This schedule change means that there will be afternoon departures from Chicago and New York with early afternoon arrivals in Abu Dhabi, those arriving in the city in the afternoon can take advantage of a stopover package and those transferring in the city will enjoy a less crowded airport and lounge.
There will also be better connection options for guests flying to and from the Indian subcontinent, which includes, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives. Passengers will enjoy more overnight flights on their return to Chicago and New York as well.
The airline also announced there will be new and improved connections to Bangladesh’s capital city, Dhaka, Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu and West Bengal’s capital, Kolkata in India.
Etihad Airways says these new flight times offer better connectivity to some of its major destinations like Colombo, New Delhi, Karachi, Lahore and Mumbai.
All passengers traveling to the U.S. on the newly timed flights will continue to benefit from the U.S. Preclearance facility located at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Those with an existing booking will be contacted by the airline with a new itinerary.
