G-III and Macy’s Ink Agreement for DKNY Women’s Products

DKNY is making moves with another major brick-and-mortar retailer.

G-III Apparel Group, the parent company of the brand, signed an agreement with Macy’s for DKNY women’s apparel and accessories.

The agreement, effective February 2018, will have the retailer be the exclusive U.S. department store for sales of DKNY women’s products, along with select menswear and swim items. DKNY products will be available to consumers at Macy’s stores and on Macy’s website. G-III and Macy’s will fortify brand extensions of DKNY and incorporate more DKNY shop-in-shops in Macy’s stores nationwide.

G-III will continue to manage existing global DKNY stores, DKNY’s website, and the brand’s agreements with international license partners outside of the U.S. Products distributed by DKNY’s licensees under other DKNY family categories will continue to be sold at many brick-and-mortar retailers, including Macy’s.
