K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers Rebrands Itself as Delivering Good

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers is fortifying its mission of helping others with a major rebranding initiative.

The national charity, formerly known as K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, is changing its name to Delivering Good. The name change, which will be complete on June 7 when the company launches its new website, reflects the charity’s ongoing efforts to combat poverty, and will enable Delivering Good to better communicate its goal of bringing hope to people through community non-profit partners.

“As our charity has evolved, we wanted to have a name and brand that could be embraced by our product donors, our financial donors, our community partners and the broader audience of consumers,” board chairman Allan Ellinger said. “Our programs are expanding to include donations and drives by children, company employees, community groups and more.”

Since 1985, the charity has helped millions of individuals in need by teaming up with community partners and distributing over $1.6 billion in donated products. In 2016, approximately 400 companies donated nearly $200 million in items, including apparel, to more than 500 community partners that provide the items to underserved adults and children. Major brands have also stepped in to help, including Skechers. The footwear company donated one million pairs of children’s shoes to the charity this year.

As part of its rebranding efforts, the charity will also debut a new website at its Women of Inspiration Luncheon in New York City next month. Helping to celebrate this milestone will be the event’s honorees—fashion designer Tracy Reese, Target marketing director Gaye Dean and Ralph Lauren North America president Lana Todorvich.

Delivering Good’s social media sites are now live on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The charity’s current website will provide updates on the rebranding process over the next few weeks.
