K.I.D.S/Fashion Delivers, a non-profit organization that provides new merchandise to people impacted by poverty and tragedy, will honor two industry leaders, as well as a charitable foundation at its annual gala fundraiser on Nov. 4, 2015.
The fundraiser marks the organization’s 30th anniversary of receiving donations from hundreds of companies in the fashion, home and children’s sectors, and will be held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
This year the gala is recognizing the support of Stuart M. Brister of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Dow Famulak of Global Brands Group and Shikshya Foundation Nepal with its co-founder, fashion designer Prabal Gurung.
“This is an outstanding celebration supported by the fashion and children’s industries,” Gala chairman Haresh Tharani, said. “Each year, leaders in manufacturing, retailing and commercial services come together, honoring colleagues and industry influencers. These honorees and their colleagues help us with our mission of providing donated, new product to people challenged by poverty and natural disasters, such as the recent earthquake in Nepal.”
The gala’s theme this year is “Invest in the Future,” and will show how the items donated throughout the year help community partners offer hope, dignity and self-esteem to people in need.
Gala tables are priced starting at $15,000, with a limited number of tickets also available at $1,500.
