The lifestyle brand choose Osaka, Japan’s trendy Shinsaibashi neighborhood for its new destination store, positioning itself in the heart of the city’s youth culture, in an area called Amerikamura (translates as “American Village”). It’s surrounded by trendy boutiques, vintage stores, high-end malls and luxury-brand retailers, a perfect location for it to become a shopping hot spot for the city’s 19 million citizens.
This is officially one of Asia’s largest Levi’s stores. Customers open its glass double doors to crisp white walls, polished concrete floors, the use of pine, higher ceilings and an open storefront, all done to create the feeling of an authentic American jeans brand.
Once inside, shoppers are treated to a complete shopping experience, where they will find everything from tops to bottoms to outerwear to accessories. Ever-popular classics like the 501 jeans and the Trucker jacket, as well as Levi’s Vintage Clothing and the Made & Crafted lines are well positioned alongside edgier collections like Commuter, Levi’s Skateboarding and LINE 8.
Customers wanting to customize their gear can do so in the Tailor Shop, where a full-time tailor is on hand to add individualized touches to their purchases.
Levi’s continues the enhanced shopping experience with state-of-the-art dressing rooms. Customers get to try their clothes in the comfort of bigger, well-lit spaces, equipped with three-way mirrors to allow views from all angles. There’s even a comfortable waiting area at the entrance of the fitting room for people accompanying shoppers trying on clothes.
