Betting on the desire for the design-challenged to get a little help decorating their homes, new home decor company NestSet launched this month with curated decor bundles.
The decor sets, which include items such as throw pillows, candles, decorative trays, books, and more, are curated by interior designers and exclusive to NestSet. Bundles are designed around specific areas of the home, such as coffee table sets and baby sets, and by themes, such as Modern and Organic. NestSet also offers seasonal and holiday combos.
Shoppers can purchase pre-designed “NestSets” across styles or can also mix and match items to create their own package that suits their home’s style and personality. They can also shop based on other considerations such as price and color. Sets start at $19.
Founders Karen Sevillia and Blair Buckley Salon created NestSet after hearing friends and family say their homes felt unfinished, despite significant investments in finishes and furniture. So they decided to create a solution that’s less expensive than hiring an interior designer and less time-consuming than shopping for individual pieces.
“Having worked in design for decades, we found a gap in the home decor industry, with homeowners spending money on home renovations and furniture, but lacking that styled and finished look achieved by interior designers,” they said. “Your home may be furnished, but that doesn’t mean it’s finished.”
In addition to home décor offerings, NestSet also offers custom in-home styling services, matching clients with an interior designer to style their homes, starting at $100.
Sevillia and Buckley Salon said they hope the brand will help consumers feather their nests without a lot of time or monetary investment.
