Building on the success of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, NGC launched ERP Xpress, a cloud-based version of the popular organizational tool.
The system provides EDI, customer order processing, purchasing, product orders, inventory control, distribution, accounting and reporting support via a cloud, meaning there is no software to install or configure, and no need for IT support or extensive user training. As a result, early-stage, high-growth companies can be up and running on the system in under 30 days.
“ERP is now within reach for even the smallest fashion and apparel companies, regardless of whether they manufacture or import, produce private label or branded merchandise, or sell to big box retailers or specialty stores,” Mark Burstein, president of sales, marketing and R&D for NGC, said.
The system includes hundreds of pre-configured reports and other functions intended to help streamline workflow, reduce costs and improve profitability. It integrates with FedEx and UPS shipping systems, as well as many banks.
NGC’s ERP Xpress can be migrated to an NGC on-premise ERP system within a few days and it is compatible with the software company’s Fashion PLM and Supply Chain Management solutions.
