Leading apparel company, Perry Ellis International, announced Tuesday that it has entered into a license agreement with Kaltex Home to sell home textile products, including bedroom and bathroom linens.

The products will be sold to customers in Mexico under the Original Penguin brand, a well-known apparel and accessories brand by Munsingwear sold internationally.

“Kaltex Home is a leading manufacturer of textiles and home goods in the continent making it an ideal collaborative partner to represent Original Penguin bedding and bath lines in Mexico,” Oscar Feldenkreis, president and chief operating officer of Perry Ellis International, said. “We are enthusiastic about working with Kaltex to leverage the strong brand equity of Original Penguin in Mexico and execute our strategic initiative to expand our global reach.”

Targeted retailers include major department and upscale stores in Mexico that are both online and brick-and-mortar, and products are set to launch in Spring 2016.
