New York, September 25, 2013 – Kids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) and Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation, Inc., partner charities that have provided over $1 billion in new product donations to families affected by poverty and natural disasters, will recognize four leaders from the retail, fashion and finance industries at their annual Gala Fundraiser taking place Wednesday, November 6 at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. The celebrated film & television actress/producer Vivica A. Fox will serve as the event’s emcee.
K.I.D.S. and Fashion Delivers will honor Brendan Hoffman, President and CEO of The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc.; Robert Campbell, Chairman and CEO of BBC International LLC; Peter Comisar, Vice Chairman, Investment Banking, Guggenheim Partners, and Daisy Fuentes, fashion entrepreneur and television personality.
“This year’s Gala celebrates the growing collaboration between K.I.D.S. and Fashion Delivers that has reached new levels of impact in helping families affected by these challenging economic times,” said K.I.D.S. Chairman of the Board Kevin Burke. “This is especially important following recent natural disasters like Hurricane Sandy and the Oklahoma tornadoes.”
