PVH Corp.
PVH Corp. announced that Sara Bland will join the company as executive vice president (EVP) and chief strategy officer on Oct. 31.
Bland will join PVH’s executive leadership team and report to CEO Stefan Larsson. She comes to PVH from Kontoor Brands Inc., where she was EVP for global strategy, responsible for growth and corporate strategy, consumer insights, innovation platforms and key transformational projects.
PVH is one of the world’s largest fashion companies, with brands that include Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
Burberry
Burberry announced that Julie Brown notified the board of her intention to step down as chief operating and financial officer at the close of the company’s current financial year on April 1, 2023.
Brown will be leaving Burberry after six years to take up an opportunity outside of the luxury industry. The process to identify her successor is underway, the company said.
Hanna Anderson

Children’s apparel brand Hanna Andersson announced that Callie Canfield joined the company as chief brand officer.
Reporting to newly appointed CEO Aimée Lapic, Canfield will oversee all integrated marketing plans for the online retailer and spearhead efforts to build brand awareness and reach a wider customer base through public relations, influencer marketing, social media and creative strategy and execution.
Most recently, Canfield was head of brand marketing and public relations for Anthropologie Group, Previously, she was vice president of marketing and communications for David’s Bridal.
Hanna Andersson’s products are designed for children ages newborn to 12 years, with a complementary assortment of family apparel.
Nike
Nike Inc. announced that Mónica Gil and Bob Swan were appointed to the company’s board of directors.
Gil is chief administrative and marketing officer of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. Swan is an operating partner at Andreessen Horowitz and former CEO of Intel Corporation.

Destination XL Group
Destination XL Group Inc. announced that James Reath will join its team as chief marketing officer (CMO) on Sept. 26.
Reath most recently served as senior vice president (SVP) of marketing at Bed Bath & Beyond, and SVP of marketing at Macy’s Inc. He will replace Ujjwal Dhoot, the current CMO, who informed the company that he will be leaving, effective Oct. 11.
Reath will receive a $200,000 sign-on award of restricted stock units to be granted on Oct. 7. Executive search firm Kirk Palmer Associates assisted with this search.

Modern Meadow, a biotechnology material science company, announced the launch of its new Impact Advisory Board.
The Impact Advisory Board is committed to accelerating sustainable innovation, guiding strategic growth initiatives, and further empower impactful partnerships. The first members of the board are John Frazier, senior technical director for Hohenstein Institute America, and Steve Rochlin, founder and CEO of Impact ROI.
They will leverage their expertise in the materials and decarbonization sector by acting as a sounding board for new ideas, providing access to forums that educate, gain exposure in, and influencing the sustainability landscape. They will also help Modern Meadow set roadmaps for specific initiatives such as corporate social responsibility, regulatory compliance, client requirements, product advancement and corporate transformation.
