PVH Corp. Appoints Penny McIntyre to Board of Directors

Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH) Corporation, a leading American garment company, announced on Friday that Geraldine “Penny” McIntyre was appointed to its Board of Directors, effective Feb. 3, 2015, growing the number of board directors to 13.

McIntyre’s most recent position was as chief executive officer of Sunrise Senior Living, LLC, a provider of senior living services, from Nov. 2013 to May 2014. Before her position at Sunrise Senior Living, she served as president of the Consumer Group of Newell Rubbermaid Inc. from Nov. 2011 to Nov. 2012. Prior to and during that position, she was group president of Newell Rubbermaid’s Office Products group from June 2009 to Nov. 2012.

McIntyre was elected as part of PVH’s director succession planning. With her addition at this time, she will be eligible for reelection at the 2015 Annual Meeting and has the ability to acquire a significant amount of experience. The appointment also helps provide an orderly transition as two of the company’s current directors will reach the mandatory retirement age before the 2015 Annual Meeting.

PVH stands as one of the world’s largest apparel companies, owning and marketing brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger worldwide. It is the world’s largest shirt and neckwear company, marketing a variety of goods under its own brands, including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, IZOD, ARROW, Warner’s and Olga, and its licensed brands, including Speedo, Geoffrey Beene, Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Sean John, Chaps, Donald J. Trump Signature Collection, DKNY, Ike Behar and John Varvatos.
