Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporter, Brandix, just earned itself PVH Corp’s title “Global Supplier of the Year” across all product categories represented by its global vendor base. And the company’s partnership with PVH is just three years old.
PVH, which produces for brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Van Heusen, awarded Brandix the honor for its “ability to break new ground for its client’s brands” and for offering “unmatched value” to its Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Heritage Brands consumer across multiple underwear product categories.
“This award is an invaluable endorsement by a global leader in branded apparel, of the passion, commitment and ability of Brandix as a supplier of top quality clothing,” said Brandix Group CEO Ashroff Omar. “Its importance transcends Brandix, and reflects well on Sri Lanka’s status as a globally significant location for the manufacture of branded apparel.”
The award was presented at PVH’s four-day Global Supply Chain Partner Summit in Phuket, Thailand.
Brandix is one of the largest suppliers of apparel to top U.S. and European retail brands and a global leader in sustainable manufacturing. The Group’s operations include several integrated manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, a 1,000-acre industrial park in India and a large operation in Bangladesh.
