Shuffle Board: Another Executive Shakeup at UBM Americas

Sympatex Technologies

Dr. Rudiger Fox was hired as the new chief executive officer and management spokesman of Sympatex Technologies on July 11. He previously held leadership positions in the automotive, aviation and telecommunications industries. His predecessor, former CEO and management spokesman Michael Kamm, left the company on mutual terms.

Burberry

Burberry CEO Christopher Bailey is resigning from his position and will be taking on a new role as the brand’s president and chief operating officer. Former Celine CEO and chairman Marco Gobbetti was appointed as Burberry’s new CEO and will assume his position in 2017. Burberry also tapped former Smith and Nephew chief financial officer Julie Brown as its new CFO. Brown’s resume includes previous stints at KPMG, ICI and AstraZenca.

UBM Americas

UBM Americas Fashion Group director Chris DeMoulin has left the trade show organizer for unknown reasons. Before working at UBM Americas, DeMoulin served as Magic International president from 2008 to 2012. UBM Americas has not determined a successor at this time.

BCBG Max Azria

Designer Max Azria is not running BCBG Max Azria Group LLC anymore. Azria is currently on paid leave and hasn’t determined a return date. At the moment, Marty Staff is serving as the group’s interim CEO until the board decides on a successor. Staff previously held executive positions at Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss.

Coach

Coach named Wendy Kahn as Stuart Weitzman’s new CEO and brand president, effective September 13. Kahn is currently the CEO of Valentino, USA and V.F.G, USA & Canada. She will take over for the brand’s current CEO Wayne Kulkin, who will become a Coach, Inc. consultant.
